| While not as large as their summer counterparts, The Greater Worcester Winter Farmers Market at Beaver Brook, located in the clubhouse at 9 Mann Street (between Chandler Street, near NuCafe, and May Street), gives local residents the chance to stock up on locally grown produce, meats, bread, honey, jams, jellies and other food products from merchants including Terrarosa Farm of Barre (produce), Shady Pine Farm (meats and eggs), the Great Harvest Bread Company (including its amazingly delicious pizza bread) and Fior d' Italia pasta and sauces. The market continues through May 27, though it will be closed on March 18, April 8 and May 13). |
